Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship
The Gilman Scholarship provides up to $5,000 to students who demonstrate financial need, plus an additional $3,000 for the study of critical languages including Chinese, Hindi, Urdu, and Arabic.
Boren Awards for International Study
The Boren Awards provide up to $20,000 to students pursuing international and language study in world regions critical to U.S. interests. Recipients commit to work one year for the federal government after completion of their degree.
Fund for Education Abroad (FEA)
FEA grants scholarships of up to $10,000 to applicants from groups under-represented in study abroad and those destined for non-traditional locations.
The Freeman Awards for Study in Asia provides scholarships for students with demonstrated financial need to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia. Receive up to $3,000 for summer, $5,000 for semester, and $7,000 for year-long programs.
Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants
Undergraduates in all fields of study who attend an institution with an active Phi Kappa Phi chapter may apply for a study abroad grant. Each year fifty $1,000 grants are awarded.
General Federation of Women's Clubs of Massachusetts
Residents of Massachusetts may apply for these study abroad scholarships up to $800 to study for a semester, summer, or academic year abroad.
Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarships
The Rotary Foundation offers a variety of study abroad scholarships for undergraduates. Contact your local Rotary club for more information.
Tortuga Backpacks Study Abroad Scholarship
The Tortuga Backpacks Study Abroad Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded twice a year to passionate students who want to explore the world.
