PARENTS

Contact Information

Our U.S.-based staff communicates directly with your student with timely and pertinent information related to their departure and upcoming experience abroad. Though we very much view parents and families as our partners in facilitating smooth pre-departure planning, and we encourage you to work closely with your student on the many preparations that need to be made, please know that students must be our primary point of contact, and we hope that you will work through them to access the information and instructions that have been shared.

General Contact Information

For any questions that are not addressed on our website or that your student cannot answer for you, please don't hesitate to contact our Program Advisor between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time between Monday and Friday at 317-940-9336, ext. 4248 or toll free at 888-232-8379. Emergency Contact Information

If you are experiencing an emergency outside of business hours, please dial our 24/7 Public Safety number at 1-317-940-9396, extension 1.  This line is operated by Butler University Police Dispatch. Await instruction from the operator. You will be contacted by an Alliance staff member who will assist you.

If a student is overseas and is involved in an emergency situation, the student should either contact an emergency responder or the on-site staff immediately. If a student is unable to do so, please contact the U.S. staff. Each U.S. staff member has the emergency contact numbers for each of the overseas program sites. All of our overseas offices have emergency contact procedures in place 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our staff is able to contact students quickly and relay information to U.S.-based staff promptly.
