Mandatory Orientation
The Alliance Orientation is MANDATORY. You should make your travel plans accordingly.
The Alliance for Global Education is NOT responsible for reserving your seat on any flight including a suggested flight. It is up to you to make travel arrangements.
Students who take the suggested flight will be met at the airport by the Resident Director and transported to their student housing. Transportation to the airport will not be provided at the conclusion of your program, as students depart on different dates.
The Alliance for Global Education, in conjunction with our preferred travel provider Student Universe, arranges suggested flights for our programs. Please visit the Student Universe webpage www.studentuniverse.com/study/alliance and review the suggested flight for your program.
You will be able to book online or you can contact Student Universe Group representatives at 1-800-351-3279 (M-F 9:00a - 6:00p EST). Remember, this flight quote is based on availability at the time of booking. No fares are guaranteed until a booking is made.
Once your airline reservations are made, please forward your confirmed itinerary by FAX (215-572-2174) or email to Julia Levy.
Independent Travel
You may choose to make your own travel arrangements to your program. You will be required to report to our overseas office on the same day your group is to arrive. Pay particular attention to the exact arrival date listed on the program calendar so that you are aware of when to meet up with the rest of your group.
When making your flight arrangements, it is best to plan to arrive before 5:00 pm on the day of the group arrival.
If you travel independently from the suggested flight, it is your responsibility to make your own way from the airport to the orientation venue. The predeparture website contains directions to your housing/orientation. Please refer to the Travel section of the predeparture website for these details.
